DAY 1 | DUBLIN TO TEMPLE HOUSE

  • Visit the ancient royal site of Tara – Seat of the High Kings of Ireland
  • Visit the heart of Ireland – The Hill of Uisneach (the centre of ancient Ireland)
  • Arrive at Temple house on the shores of temple lake in Co. Sligo

DAY 2 | TEMPLE HOUSE

  • Enjoy 2 nights in the splendour of a magnificent Georgian Manor
  • Explore hidden Ireland, Co. Sligo – Home of story and traditional music
  • Enjoy an evening in private concert and storytelling, with your own Shanakee

DAY 3 | TEMPLE HOUSE TO WESTPORT

  • Cross the vast peat bogs at Ballycroy National Park

DAY 4 |WESTPORT TO CLIFDEN

  • Stop for an early morning hike up St. Patrick’s holy mountain
  • Drive south through the stunning Connemara National park
  • Visit Kylemore Abbey Ireland’s Taj Mahal and stay in Clifden the capital of Connemara

DAY 5 | CLIFDEN TO GALWAY

  • Head east along the Maumturk mountains
  • Visit Aughnanure Castle – home of the mighty O’Flaherty Chieftains
  • Stay 2 nights in Galway – city of the tribes, Ireland’s hippest town.

DAY 6 | GALWAY

  • We head south to the world famous cliffs of Moher
  • Along the way, we visit the 5,500 year old Poulnabrone Dolmen
  • Then, back to Galway along the breathtaking south shore of Galway Bay

DAY 7 | GALWAY TO DUBLIN

  • Cross the majestic River Shannon at Clonmacnoise 6th.c Celtic Monastery
  • Visit Kilbeggan distillery, founded in 1757
  • Return to Dublin in time for high-tea and the best pint of Guinness in the world.
