The Sun
€0.00
A richly illustrated tarot card inspired by Irish myth and ancient landscape.
The Sun represents clarity, renewal and the quiet strength found in light after darkness.
Designed as both a symbolic artwork and a functional card, it carries the same storytelling spirit found in Shanakee’s carved pieces.
The Sun
In the old traditions, the sun was more than light — it was presence.
A force that revealed truth, warmed the land, and marked the turning of time itself.
This card draws from that deeper meaning.
Set against a landscape of ancient stones and open sky, The Sun reflects themes of renewal, clarity, and quiet confidence. It speaks to moments when the path becomes visible again — when what was hidden is brought into light.
A Story in Symbol
Each element within the design is intentional:
The rising sun as a symbol of awakening and truth
The standing stones, echoing Ireland’s ancient memory
The seated figure, grounded between past and present
Together, they form a visual narrative — one that invites reflection rather than instruction.
Crafted with Meaning
While different in medium, this piece shares the same philosophy as the carved oak works:
Stories are not just told — they are held, carried, and returned to.
This tarot card is designed to be:
A functional piece for reading and interpretation
A symbolic artwork for contemplation
A collectible object rooted in myth and place
